iWant is the OTT platform of ABS-CBN. To better serve their users, they wanted to relaunch the service with a whole new look, new features, and better user experience. I served as the Associate Creative Director in charge of branding and platform design.

The iWant brand has been around for more than 10 years. It was first designed some time in 2012 and never got a brand update. Although the platform still worked and served its basic purpose, the iWant team felt that the look and feel of the platform felt dated especially with the arrival of other OTT platforms such as Netflix and iFlix.
With that, the design team was tasked to update the branding and platform along side all the new content they had in the pipeline.
The iWant team wanted to appeal to a younger target market. We designed the logo to be much softer and welcoming using rounded corners and soft lines. The chosen color pallete still harks back to the original iWant blue but accented with pink and teal. We also chose a nice rounded font for the wordmark to give the logo an even friendlier feel.
To show the new kinds of content of the iWant platform, we created various content lockups. These were used as opening billboards, lower screen graphics, and on other various marketing materials.
Along with the new branding, we created a new look and feel for the website integrating all the new brand elements. New content was made easily discoverable with the revamped navigation and recommendation engine. We also created a new mobile app for IOS and Android.
Many of our users use Smart TVs to enjoy their entertainment content. We took that into consideration and created TV versions of the iWant app integrating all the new features as well as all the new content users can expect from the mobile and web versions.
